Having no university degree does not mean you should take the first job available and try to make two ends meet. In Canada, there are employers who offer over C$100,000 per year without paying attention to whether you have a degree.
Graduation from a university does not guarantee success and high salary. If you don’t believe, look at the list of Canada’s highest paid jobs not requiring a university degree. Sure, you need to have certain skills to do a job, but this does not mean that to master it you have to spend years at a university.
The list of jobs is provided by the Canadian job-search site Indeed.com. Keep in mind that most jobs require a certificate, license or other document confirming that you have been trained.
