At the beginning of June, the province of Quebec is organizing a job fair for francophone candidates in Paris. There are three weeks left until the end of the registration period!
On June 1–2, the information session (job fair) Journées Québec will be held in Paris (France) for French-speaking candidates willing to immigrate to the province of Quebec.
The registration will last until 23:59 (Eastern Daylight Time, GMT-4) of May 19, 2019.
Journées Québec has been held in Europe twice a year since 2008. At this event, employers from different parts of Quebec can meet high-skilled immigration candidates and offer them jobs.

Registration
Participation in the Journées Québec is free. However, you must bear extra expenses related to the event (transportation, food, accommodation, etc.).
To register:
- Follow the link and click the button ‘INSCRIVEZ-VOUS’.
- Enter the system and fill out the profile.
- Get access to job openings and submit applications.
- Wait for the confirmation that your application has been successfully submitted.
- If your application is accepted by an employer, get the invitation to a job interview — you should accept or decline it. If you accept the invitation, you will receive a message containing the employer’s name, the job interview date, time and location.
Job interview invitations usually come no later than 10 days before the job fair, but sometimes candidates are contacted later.
If you have not received an invitation for a job interview, but your profile complies with other job offers for which you have not applied, or you have suitable work experience, you will receive an email inviting you to visit the job fair.
To register for the job fair, you need to upload a resume that meets the standards of CVs in Quebec.
How are candidates selected?
Each employer has his own qualification criteria. It is recommended to read descriptions of all job offers since they contain employers’ requirements, as well as details of offered jobs. For each employer, you can apply for only one job. Thus, you should choose the offer that suits you best in order to maximize your chances of being selected.
What is the process of the job fair?
Only those who have received an invitation to attend the session or a job interview can take part in Journées Québec. Those who are invited can take a spouse with them.
Upon arrival, you must provide an ID (a passport) with a photo, your invitation to participate in the job fair, or an invitation for a job interview from an employer participating in the job fair. You should also take with you paper copies of your resume and a USB flash drive containing your CV.
The event consists of two parts:
- Job interviews (in French) between candidates who have been invited and employers who have selected those candidates.
- Job fair, which brings together employers from Quebec, candidates who were invited for a job interview, and people who received an invitation to take part in the fair.
What will they say?
