New Express Entry Draw: Cut-Off Score Is On the Rise Again

In the Express Entry draw held on September 4, Canada again sent a large number of invitations. Meanwhile, the cut-off score increased.

The Government of Canada sent 3,600 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to permanent residence candidates during the Express Entry draw held on September 4. It was the 17th invitation round in 2019.

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)’s cut-off score in this draw round was 463, which is 6 points lower compared to the previous draw’s score.

This year, the total number of ITAs issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) reached 59,800.

IRCC used the tie-break rule in the draw held on September 4. This means that all candidates with a CRS score of 463 or higher, who received ITAs in this draw, submitted their profiles in the Express Entry system before August 23, 2019, 13:33:34 UTC.
