New Express Entry Draw: Cut-Off Score Has Decreased

The Government of Canada sent 3,600 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to permanent residence candidates during the Express Entry draw held on September 18. It was the 18th invitation round in 2019.

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)’s cut-off score in this draw round was 462, which is 1 point lower compared to the previous draw’s score.

This year, the total number of ITAs issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) reached 63,400.

IRCC used the tie-break rule in the draw held on September 18. This means that all candidates with a CRS score of 462 or higher, who received ITAs in this draw, submitted their profiles in the Express Entry system before August 29, 2019, 07:57:13 UTC.
